Boeing 787-9

When our 787s joined the fleet in October 2014, it represented a huge leap for us, both as an airline and our whole industry in improving our carbon footprint. This aircraft has now become an iconic part of the Virgin fleet.

Airbus A350-1000

Designed with love and built for the future. The Airbus A350-1000 is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines and is 30% more fuel and carbon efficient than the A340s they replaced.

The A330-300 joined our aircraft family in April 2011. At 63.69 metres long with a wingspan of 60.3 metres, it is the largest of the twin engine A330's.

Airbus A330neo

The A330neo is the latest addition to Virgin Atlantic aircraft family. It has a slender 64 metre wingspan which is nearly 4 metres more than our A330-300. This helps the A330neo able to fly further and faster whilst being one of the most efficient aircraft in the sky.
