Weather disruption impacting JFK & BOS

Due to the adverse weather conditions across the East Coast of the USA from Sunday 22nd to Wednesday 25th February 2026, the Virgin Atlantic flying programme experienced delays and cancelations. We resumed operations to and from JFK and BOS from Tuesday 24th February.

Our teams have been working hard to rebook affected shipments, and customers are advised to check Track and Trace for the latest status of their shipments. 

New bookings on flights to JFK, BOS and IAD are being accepted as usual.

The cargo acceptance window has also returned to BAU and is now within 48 hours prior to departure at LHR and MAN.
